I’ve had this book for a long time and recently re-read it. The ServerFault Systems Administration team continues its growth with the addition of sysadmin icon Thomas Limoncelli. You can use an elaborate evening planner system, computer calendar pages, a wall calendar, workplace calendar, pocket appointments, etc., to do your own planning. Accessing and managing files is a critical task for getting things done in IT. Book recommendation – I think on Brent Ozar’s site – for a 2006 book entitled “Time management for system administrators”, by Tom Limoncelli (see his blog at http://everythingsysadmin.com/, he seems like good people). So I bought and am now reading Time Management for System Administrators (aka “The Badger”) from O’Reilly. I know plenty of System and Network admins. With this in mind, I thought it high time to share with Petri readers my tried and true six favorite iPad apps for making life in the IT trenches a little bit easier. My two current essential books are Time Management for System Administrators by Thomas Limoncelli and The Practice of System and Network Administration by Thomas Limoncelli and Christine Hogan.
